I am crazy for sure. But here is my confession…I am actually afraid of other crazy people. Maybe they are afraid of me, who knows? One night in the hospital, my cell mate was snoring like a freight train. I went up front and complained and was given the “isolation suite” complete with the tie downs. This room is usually reserved for violent patients. At first light, it was humorous to emerge from this room and feel the fear of the other patients assuming I was put there for nefarious reasons….. My fear subsided as theirs intensified. Things aren’t always as they seem.
